Why do you want to become an Correctional Officer? (100 words): I want to become a Correctional Officer because I love helping people, I love saving people's lives, I want to eventually switch over to the Erie County Sheriff's Office Patrol Department, I want to see what it is like to be to be a Correctional Officer, I want to be able to know how to use the jail system, I want to be able to learn the police codes before I switch over to the Patrol Department, I want to learn how to handle a jail break, I want to learn how to be a good officer, and I want to learn how to Police run things. 6. What makes you more qualified over other applicants? (50 words): I'm more qualified than other occupants because I have a lot of past experience. I know some of the codes, I know how to do a proper pull over, I know how to negotiate, I know how to pit a vehicle, I know how to deal with a hostage situation, I know how to deal with a bank robbery, etc. 7. Do you possess any experience with being a police officer: Yes 8. Do you have the ability to communicate properly within the English language?: Yes 9. Give us a brief description of yourself (Real Life). (25 Words): I love helping people, I'm a very friendly person, I want to go to school for criminology and then try and join the FBI [Federal Bureau of Investigation], right now I am a security guard at a ice skating rink, I hate it when I see kids smoking or doing drugs, I would maybe even like to run for President when I get older but I'm not sure yet, my parents are divorced, I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters, I'm a uncle, I live in a small town in Pennsylvania, and I like play basketball and I do cross country. 10.
